Today is even more welcome after over a week of near 90 degrees and 80 to 90 % humidity. Cats are having a ball now, roaming around the yard.

7 inches of rain. Many streets flooded. and closed.

It rain almost all night last night.  Luckily it stopped around 6 this morning.  Went jogging at shortly after it stopped and when the sun came out, but I was still getting rained on as the breeze picked up and knocked all the water off the trees.  Which wouldnt be so bad, but all the streets nearby except two have trees planted at the curb.  It gives that nice canopy feel, and looks real pretty in autumn, but it sucked this morning.  Was nearly soaked through by the time I got home.

Would have skipped it but I need to make up for the exercise I'm missing from work.  Not as many dogs to go walking with, which also explains the weight gain.

Forecast high of 17C today. Windy as fuck the last 5 days. Wind is from the northwest which is good I guess. The townhouse protects the lawn furniture in the backyard preventing it from being blown into Saskatchewan.
