If it wouldn't be too much trouble, DrWoody, would you start drinking Belhaven Scottish Ale? I find it's a better class of beer and more to my taste.

Upon returning home after a lifelong absence, you may find that the journey back was more impressionable than the arrival, and those you met along the way have already shaped your future.

Fog so thick you can wear it like a sweater this morning, but several more days of warm (70's +) weather ahead.  I'm loving it, but my sinuses are starting to dry up.

Everyone has to believe in something, I believe I'll have another beer.

Our spring is cooler this year too.  Last year in May we were already in triple digits that lasted through about July 4.  We also had rain last week and last night.  Will wonders never cease?

It is 80F here now at 10am, expected to hit a high of 91F.  Our low this evening is expected to be 69F.  The long range forecast predicts 101F by Thursday.

Went up north this last weekend to check on the house. Woke up Sunday to an inch of snow on the grass and more than that on the car along with a nice layer of ice. Got to love spring time in Michigan

Tornado *warning* just expired 20 minutes ago for the Dallas metroplex.  :emot_kiss:

I'm not believing the forecast for later today.  It's already 7 degrees cooler than they quote as the low for the day, so I'm thinking they need to revise the forecast for the next few days.

We got a shitpot full of rain out in my little neck of paradise earlier.

edit: Granbury (30 miles SW of Fort Worth) and Ennis (30 miles S of Dallas) weren't as lucky as I was.

Why Goddammit on my vacation time?

Today Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Steady temperature around 71. South southwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

96°?!
IT'S FUCKING HOT
Better than winter.

Another odd thing this monsoon season - my phone makes "Emergency Broadcast" messages warning of dust storms and flash floods.  I was in a restaurant two Sundays ago when a storm came in.  Suddenly everyone's cell phone went bananas warning about heavy rains and to avoid travel.
