Temp was in the FUCKING NICE! range today, if a little humid.

However, at 9PM I have a freaking TORNADO WARNING (one on the ground) headed right my way.  Hopefully it blows apart before it gets here.  It's still a ways out.  There's a couple of large blocks of TORNADO WATCH up north of here, but the WARNING has me concerned.  I can see rotation in several of the storms, but the thing headed to me is an actual WARNING.




Update a couple of hours later: it's all blowing out as it hits town.  Lots of lightning and still chance for some hail. but it looks like it's safe to hit the sack: no more tornados out of this cell.

It is nearly the end of May and we've only his triple digit temperatures once.  We are having a cooler than usual spring here in Tucson.  It's fucking nice!

Our high was 87 F today!

Bring on the warm temps.  It has been in the 80s since last Monday with a few storms at night.  Sure beats putting on layers of clothes just to keep warm.  Flip flops and shorts -the way to go.

Another really hot morning.....already in the 90's.
Bright sunny day, not a cloud in the sky.
To hot for the horses, so they stay inside the barn with fans on.

It rained last night.
The sky turned completely black over the hills where I live, but right behind the black sky was a brilliant red ribbon of color. It was fantastic to watch. The horses ran around in the rain (finally getting relief from the heat). I just stood out in the rain with the horses and got soaked to the skin and couldn't have cared less.
