It was very sunny and in upper 50's but seems to be clouding up a little. Still a beautiful day!

Here comes the next one.  The circled area is weird: it looks like the bulk of that cell is moving west-to-east, but the rest of it is moving our way.  It's like two cells overlaid, moving different directions.  It'll be here in 2 to 3 hours sometime... maybe.  The red filled area is a tornado warning (one is on the ground or imminent).

and as I finish making this post, the WARNING area has already disappeared.  The chasers are headed our way, expecting something to happen around here.

Cold, Cloudy, and Raining.
Basically a crappy day.
Not even nice enough to do yard work.

Love,
Liz

Was a decent day here for most part, partly cloudy and upper 50's.  But now it's a cold rainy night.  Typical March weather I guess!

March is a teaser month.  One day nice, the next two not nice but least we can look forward to better weather ahead.

Liz is doing yard work already?  Can still s-n-o-w yet.

Severe thunderstorms and golf-ball sized hail south of DFW this morning, nice this afternoon.  Welcome to Dallas: your car has had the shit kicked out of it.  Luckily it missed my section of town.

New Hampshire weather topsy turvy today. Low dark clouds early morning, drizzle, then clearing mid-morning to bright sun, clear sky mid-day, then big dark ominous clouds in the afternoon, scattered showers, then strong gusting winds blew my vehicle across the road several times. More showers, then clear again but a big patch of sky showing mammatus clouds, which I'd seen pictures of but this was the first time I'd seen them in the sky with my own eyes. These are really strange looking, indicative of very turbulent sky, high wind shear, big aviation hazard if your plane gets caught in them.

The wind gusts were not quite a tornado, but lots of debris being whipped up high into the air.

On the bright side, crocus shoots now sticking their heads up.

Up here, your car has a much better chance of getting bullet holes shot through it then hail dinging the heck out of it.

Grass is becoming greener and flowers beginning to pop up everywhere so Spring must be near.

It's Hot and Humid In Singapore Today.....
I don't like it and the horses certainly don't like it.
(Nothing like stepping out of your hotel room and getting instantly soaked from humidity).

Love,
Liz

Today was the second robin appearance in NH for the year. The first showed up back in January, having flown in on the wave of 74 degree air that we had one day. If I take a walk in the woods, I bet I'll find a few silver-bearded pussy willows.

If not, I'm sure you can find some at the local retirement community............oh, you said willows. Never mind!
