I'm not much of a drinker, especially hard liquor, but I couldn't pass up a chance for a taste of Pappy Van Winkle 23.

Taste is the operative word, since it can sell for up to $300 a shot.  :emot_weird:

I have some Weller downstairs that is unopened .  I think it is Reserve.  Might be Antique.  Will look next time I am down at the bar. 

Might have to crack that. 

Dan had friends over to watch the games.   All beer drinkers.  Not one bourbon drinker.  I had water all night.

So not what I’m drinking now but did buy something new last night. Jack Daniels is now selling the premixed cans of Jack and Coke. Actual first brand name tie in for a whiskey. Picked up the Coke Zero 4 pack. I think it was 8% ABV. Not getting drunk off it. Not bad but don’t think I’d buy again at $14.

Tin Cup whiskey and Dr Pepper with lemon. Sipped a shot to give a try and pretty good. Only 84 proof but I got $10 off the bottle so had to buy and give it a try. We’re having Easter/birthday party this Sunday so the bottle might be gone by Monday

Door county apple spiced rum and Sprite with maraschino cherries.

I'm drinking it out of a Kentucky bourbon trail souvenir glass that I got when I traveled with my dad.  I somehow feel like I'm committing a crime or some sort of fauxpa.

George Remus bourbon and Jager with a splash of lemon juice. So damn good. 3oz of each of the whiskeys and then add the lemon with ice. I put it in the freezer for awhile then drank. SO good

Drinking a premix of Jack and Coke Cola. Only 7% alc. vol. tastes good for what it is. A bit expensive for 4 cans. $14

I ran out of sugar, so I added honey instead. Definitely changed the taste  ut I added more rum to fix that nonsense.

Woo'ing you  #22026.  That hit the spot.  We both enjoyed it out in the garage.  He was 'wet shining' the tires and shine up the inside of the wheels on his car.   :roll:  So that's where I've been the last 45 minutes. The daiquiri made watching him doing it, somewhat tolerable.  Just got back inside, but first sent him to make me another.  Told him to be a little more generous with the rum this round.

Not as much what I am drinking as what I will be. Just ordered two mix bottles from a favorite bourbon website. Just add your favorite liquid and leave in the fridge for 3 days.
- Peppermint bark martini mix
- Boathouse Punch Camp Craft cocktail mix.

The peppermint bark I’ll mix with Buffalo Trace. Try and pickup a scotch for the other.
