Yeah, ditto.  Although sitting at breakfast today, my Peruvian said I looked like I’m losing weight.  I sure know that was not true early on in this, but maybe now I’m seeing a ‘flattening of the curve’.  But just like COVID-19, I’ll believe that once I have more data.

On another topic, seems I’m not allowed beer or spirits yesterday and today, just wine?  Despite being on my second Catholic wife, this is unfamiliar to me.  And yesterday through Saturday, no terrestrial meat, just aquatic.  Although, apparently eggs don’t count as terrestrial.  And as yesterday was her birthday, we went through 3 bottles of wine.  And, I predict mas vino esta noche.

Opened a large can of pineapple juice the other day, and the mint has been growing well in a pot on the deck.  I used some of the mint to make tabouleh, but there was plenty left for pineapple mojitos.

I’ll probably have a couple more of those today and margaritas for Cinco de Mayo.  I actually had to explain what Cinco de Mayo was to my Peruvian.

Running out of ‘medicine’, so a liquor store run planned for Thursday.

My last stop at the ‘medicine’ store I gazed wistfully at several high end bourbons before grabbing a bottle of Bulleit at 32$ for 1.75L.  I had about 3 fingers of that with a mix of ice creams last night.  Chocolate, butter pecan, a salted caramel and chocolate something or other and a peanut butter chocolate whatchamaycallit, all mixed together.

No wonder I’m getting fat.

Anyone want to do a body shot of ice cream off my fat belly?  I’ll use my navel to keep the scoop from sliding off. Of course if it slides low, let your mouth go for whatever you find down there.

That is what I usually buy.  It’s okay.  It’s relatively cheap for the quality.  And 1.75L will last me four or five days easily.  Guilty pleasure.  Not going to drink it with my branch water snob friends.  But I’m not trying to impress anyone, at home in my pajamas, at 10 pm.

I also got a 1.75L of Barcardi, 1.75L of Luksusova Polish vodka, a 5th of Jose (cuz they were out of 1.75L) and a bottle of high end Peruvian pisco last trip.  I’m good on hard liquor for at least a month.  Maybe in a couple weeks I’ll need beer and wine.

Check the label. Snapple is full of chit.  There is no apple in their apple juice, it's pear
