Drinking Victory Sour Monkey, 9.5%.  I jumped on the sour brews bandwagon 2 years ago in Portland Oregon.

In 1993 I got laid off from my first job.  Severance and unused vacation ended up being 12 weeks pay.  So I went out west for 2 months.  In a restaurant just outside of Yosemite NP I ordered for dessert cheesecake and a shot of Baileys.  The waitress watched as I poured the Baileys over the cheesecake.  She didn’t say a word, but returned a few minutes later with the chef and pointed to my dessert and said, ‘See what he did?  Isn’t that a great idea?’  I always wanted to go back and see if it was on the menu.

I have no idea.  I shook my glass and it got refilled from a pitcher.  It was sweet and had a kick.  Might have had some ginger in it.
