I've had about 7 of these mixed vodka blood orange chai things from a local distillery that I'm too drunk to find the bottle for.  They're very tasty.  I'm looking forward to the hangover in the morning.

Sounds like me and my buddy when he and his wife makes Irish Wakes for new years. Tastes good, but sucks when it comes back around. They make them good, but there is a pretty nice Irish pub here called Macguires, who makes them epic. Also they make their own root beer, which is the sex.

I love "ole smoky" butter pecan moonshine. It's friggin delicious. So 8m trying out the companies mountain rita. Not that great, but I'm squirting a quick shot of MIO black cherry in it and it is delicious.

On a recent city break at a location known for its whiskies I got the opportunity to try three I had never tasted before - Ardbeg, Jura and Old Pulteney. Wanted to try  Bunnahabhain but the pub had run out  :emot_weird:

I did see a bottle of Glenfarclas on sale for £7200 (yes, £7.2K)

Princess, would you like to see it light up and hum when I wave it about

The girls were drinking some premed margs from Costco this past weekend.  They were pretty good.

Note to self: Listen to Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb.

I have absolutely no idea why I lost interest in PF right after their More soundtrack album. I was a huge fan in their early days and got to see the original line-up with Syd Barrett a couple of times. Also got to see one of the first gigs with pretty (make that gorgeous) boy Dave Gilmour. His long hair and red leather boots were a sight to see.

Thank you for giving me a prod in the right direction. Enjoy your EW and splash of Coke!

I’m out of bourbon. I thought about buying some on the way home, but I’ve got two cases set for trial in the morning. So I’m just enjoying some IPA. 9% ABV, so he’s got a little kick. Trying to avoid Paul Newman in the Verdict.

All of a sudden I heard Canned Heat frontman Bob "The Bear" Hite singing:

 This is a song with a message;
I want you to heed my warning.

Do parent really say to their kids, "Settle down, sweetie, and I'll read you a nice story about an alcoholic father."?

This... Romeo's Gin, alcohol free. I'm working tonight at the office and we often have some drinks and snacks as perks. I never tasted this before. I like it very much and since it's alcohol-free, it won't impair neither my translation skills nor my weightlifting skills once I'm done with my day/evening at work. I drink very little alcohol, especially now that I'm back to heavy lifting.

My fantasies have many lights and shadows.

Translation skills? I didn't know there were any other members of our merry band here on KB.

Absolutely! I translate documents from English to my native French; it's most often legal or government documents (Canada).

I'm impressed. Legal and official translations have always been top tier, fetching premium rates.

When I was fresh out of college and struggling to make ends meet, I'd take anything they'd give me — mostly technical stuff. A tough way to earn a living.

I was a freelance translator for two years before getting hired at the place I'm still working at. Yes, you really earn your living when you're doing technical stuff that demands a ton of researching for not-so-great money given the time commitment involved. Since Canada is officially a bilingual country, good translators are in high demand and costs of living are relatively low in Quebec; in other words, I shouldn't complain!

My fantasies have many lights and shadows.

I know, but that’s the only kind available state-wide, atleast for the law-abiders.
(It’s a stupid law.)

I'll have a drink with you.

I'm having Old Glory whiskey.   From a cool Tennessee distillery a few miles from the Kentucky line along I-24.

The gin is pretty good too.  Bought that just because of the label.
