I have to disagree with you Mr. Dream on a few of those.
Joker was great. His performance was wonderful and completely ingrained with that character now, just as Mark Hamill or Cesar Romero's.
I also find it hilarious that you condemn most of the portrayals but support Bane. Bane was originally South American not cockney. Reading the reviews doesn't cast too much support either when most of them say that with the accent, wheezing and speaking through the mask is only audible 50% of the time. I haven't seen much of Tom Hardy but no acting chops can save him if he is that hard to understand.
Who cares if Bale is Welsh or not, he is constantly mistaken for being a American and frankly does a decent job as Batman just as Cillian Murphy does a interesting job and Crane. My bigger problem is if whether or not Nolan even tried to get Americans in the series. I've seen the cast listings and for both films their pretty much 95% English actors. Now, Tom Wilkinson was horrible. Horrible accent, not that great of performance but hey, he is (a legend and) like Nolan, English, so he has to be in it. Wayne's parents, you name them, most of the actors aren't American and to me, puzzling as to why. (It's bad enough he have to sit through the same actors over and over again in his films...)
As for Ra's I don't know, I've heard his performance in a few cartoons and really don't care either way. I liked David Warner's performance in the Animated Series and thought he was well handled in the Arkham City game. So his nationality is of no importance to me.
I agree about Catwoman. Those early shots of Hathaway in that outfit doesn't do it for me. Catwoman can have long hair but something just lacks for Hathaway. Give me Lee Meriwether or Julie Newmar any day.
And finally, I'm not sure that more films are classifiable as "rumored" when the new head of Warner Bros. first took over, he explicitly stated that he would mine out the DC catalog, which includes a fresh reboot series of Batman right after Nolan's trilogy ends.
