An early Happy Thanksgiving to you all.   I hope you have a wonderful time and get to spend some time with family and friends.  I'll be off for two weeks without internet, BUT, I asked for a star link for an early Xmas present. 

But then again, one of the nice things about going to the cottage is the peace and quiet and just disconnecting from the world.  Do we throw that all away.  Dan and I discussing pros and cons of the purchase.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I’m always thankful for you. I am going to Houston to see my brother and family. My two boys are going with me. My youngest is driving, so I don’t have to be behind the wheel on the freeway. Plan to have a good time and then come back to Austin to watch the Longhorns beat Texas Tech on Friday.

Wishing my KB friends at home and abroad a very happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful for you. I don’t think any of us will look back at 2024 as a banner year. Lots of illnesses, the KB site being shut down, the US election, just a shit storm. But we have each other, we’ve stood by one another, through thick and thin, for very long time.

I hope you have a day full of friends, family, turkey, and football. Throw in a little perversity too, please. Love you all.

Next February I'll have been here 15 years. I agree, this really wasn't a great year, but really the real world for me has never been as great as KB, im glad I found this site.
Despite numerous changes over the years and different setbacks for myself with my writing, I've always considered KB my home and most of its members my family. A lot of our KB family has left over the years, but I'm glad many have stayed. 🦃🦃🦃

Was a rather busy week for me, but it was all so very good. Spent so much time with family and friends, and my kitchen, I really didn't have much time for anything else.
