Yes, 36 years since I've done drugs or alcohol. I entered a six month treatment program on this day 36 years ago. Obviously my whole life changed and for the better.

A good friend from the "street" followed me there two months later. We were to become best friends.

Sadly, today I will be going to his memorial service this morning.
He died a few weeks ago after suffering for a year in the hospital and then hospice.

Kinda puts a damper on my anniversary celebration, but he's at peace now.

A wonderful achievement for you love. It may be saddened by his passing, but I agree 100% with MJ. Know it in your heart that hes celebrating this day with you.💋❤
