Here is why I don’t understand the Trumpsters who come here.

•Your party hates you.

•Your party hates sexuality and sexual freedom.

•Your party hates women, procreative choice, and LGBTQ.

•AND YOUR PARTY HATES ADULT CONTENT ON THE INTERNET.

One of Trump’s favorite cocksuckers, the closeted Lindsey Graham (R-SC), has introduced S.3398 - the EARN IT Act of 2020.  What does it do?

•Creates a stand alone commission to create rules about Internet content.
•Strips immunity away from web hosting sites.
•Makes web hosting sites liable for content.
•Seeks to limit or remove web encryption.
•Defines anything under 18 as child pornography, rather Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
•Changes the name of child pornography to CSAM, so no constitutional protections.

It has passed out of the Senate Judiciary.  The GOP controlled Senate is falling over themselves, and even asked that it pass by acclamation.

So don’t tell me you love KB while you pull the lever for Red candidates.

Thank you for making this thread, Toe; I really didn't want to open this discussion here, even though I did over on RU.

But, as over on the other site, I get worried about where that puts us. This topic has been discussed on two fronts over on RU, one through EARN IT and the other through the civilian-led #SaveTheChildren, and I fear that this bill will arm up the latter group, which will endanger this site along with many others.

(By the way, for those who have not seen my responses over on the other forum, no, I don't currently plan on leaving. This is a battle I choose to fight, but if worse comes to worst...well, you'll know when that happens.)
