Three Minnesota National Guardsmen were killed yesterday when their Blackhawk Helicopter crashed on a routine maintenance flight. Gov. Walz's face reflects the sadness of Minnesotans for men who put so much on the line.
The Guard is called out to help with floods, venture into killing blizzards, search for lost hunters and any other time their fellow citizens are in need of help. Also with the "War on Terror", they're ripped from familys' and jobs to be deployed half a world away.
It's so easy to take these men and women for granted, yet when needed, they answer the call.
