Everybody on this forum, I assume, has heard of Dolly Little. Petite, redhead, porn actress. Most of the regulars, I also assume, have also seen some of her cosplay pics.

If you're new here in the past year or so, yes, I typed that last sentence correctly: she is also a cosplayer, and either last year or the year before, I posted her pics in the Cosplay thread.

Now, when I found this out, my mind immediately made one noise: "...Fuck." Up until that point, I had only known of her as a sexual being, a girl who simply liked to get naked and fuck. So to see her in this different light, partaking in a respected artform1 such as cosplay, made me feel a bit shameful about my previous views of her.

That's the feeling I'm talking about in this thread: when you find out someone who you've only previously viewed in a questionable light, also participates in something (usually) non-sexual, and you just go, "...Fuck, I'm an asshole." And Dolly isn't the only one I've had that feeling with; the other one, however, I'll only reveal if I get an all-clear from a mod, due to some age issues.

So now the question to everyone else: have you found out something non-sexual about a person you've only known in a sexual light until then, and gone, "Man, I'm a disgusting human being"?

1 Just to clarify my position here, I do not think pornography isn't a respectable art, despite the many detractors. And I'm fully aware some do not see cosplay as respectable either (many of whom are absolute perverts), although those people are in a clear minority, and cannot count me as one of their subscribers.

I don't think I ever knew any person just on a sexual basis.  Even if I did, it still wouldn't take away the fact that person is someone's daughter, sister, even mother. Though reasons can be many why the person is doing, or has done the things that brought her to your attention in a sexual way, that may only be a small part of her life. I try to see the beauty and goodness in people, no matter what position in life they are in.

People are judgemental fuckers, too quick to open their mouths, and not listen closely. Take a look at people like Marilyn Manson and Stoya - they're judged for how they look, or what they do, and people don't pay attention to what they say.  It's important to hear opinions different from your own - it's too easy today to filter out things so that everything we read or see just reinforces your viewpoint.
