Here's the perfect vacation idea for bourbon lovers, like our Jules. Bardstown, KY, is striving to become the bourbon capital with a theme park and a ride on a vintage train to get there. Yes, the train Hass bar car.

I can't wait.  We were hoping to go down in October, but it doesn't look like it will happen.

I love the city of Bardstown.  We were there last fall.  I loved all the distilleries we visited with the exception of the Bardstown Distillery.  Very diappointed.  Seemed to hipster and trendy.  Disliked the building and all.  It was flashy, and metal, and bright.  Bourbon is old, aged wood, old stills, old distilleries.  Think 1792, which is a favorite bourbon I partake in, and also the year Kentucky became a state.

I've never heard of Dant.  I've never heard of Monk.  4 years (likely) to produce, I'm looking forward to it.  I like to try new stuff.  I'll keep an eye on this.
