Paul was the main writer, producer, and player in the band.  I don't think TSO will survive his passing any better than the Grateful Dead survived the loss of Jerry Garcia.

Still no news on what happened.  The band says "after fighting chronic illness..."

It's a great loss loosing one of their founders, but I'm sure that TSO can still move forward without Paul, the Savatage guys and the many other musicians who make up TSO I'm sure can carry on the group in his honor, I'm sure that he would not want them to quit because he died.
