I had an ex who would dive into every meal, and start carving up the food on my plate, before I had even had a taste... "Ooh, that looks good, I wanna try that!  Here have some of my eggplant!  You gonna eat all that artichoke???"

I finally let her know, "I don't want your eggplant, that's why I didn't order any.  This is my fucking linguini.  Next time order linguini, if you want linguini." She thinks I'm an asshole, but really?  Fuck her.  LOL.

I HATE people like that. I'm very territorial when it comes to food. Not that I never share...well, ok I almost never do, LOL unless with my kids. But anybody else needs to stay out of my goddamn plate unless I offer them something myself or they get my permission after a polite request. I've never stuck a fork in anybody's hand, but I've come close. Usually a menacing look and an angry "Hey, stay out of my plate!" suffice. Even my husband found out VERY soon that I don't tolerate uninvited forks near my plate. LOL  Likewise I never intrude on other people's plates. A buddy of my husband's has the exact same territorial urge when it comes to food, and he has actually stuck a fork in someone's hand one time, so I'm not the only one like that.
