All three are offline.  I turned them off when the host upgraded the server and baffed the forums due to inconsistencies in the CHAT coding.  Both chat types are a bit wonky, though the one used HERE (FlashChat) still kinda-sorta works after some other tweaks I've done.  The other one (used solely at RavishU) has the possibility of working better, but I'd need to divorce it from the forum database to reduce load, and that's not much better than sending the folks over to IRC.

However, with the load issues, I don't see how we can keep any of 'em running.  That's why I turned them all off.  Taking the forums down for a small handful of users that just want to use Kristen's and RavishU for an IRC replacement is damned silly.

We *still* have load issues.  Between 7 and 8AM this morning CST, the server coughed up a total of 6800 pages to 1500 unique addresses, and we briefly got shut down.  About 10% of that load was in 10 users; only one of them registered on either forum.

I don't. My life does not allow me to make time for any other recreational site than KB, but I have on rare occasions chatted in google with an extremely limited number of people from KB. You'll have to schedule an appointment.  :emot_laughing:

There were some issues with people connecting to the chat.
I've switched it to a different server now so that should hopefully solve any problems.

For those that want to connect with a IRC client it is still an option

the address is: irc.rizon.net #RavishU
I'm using port 6667 but any of the standard IRC ports should work
