SF in the 18th inning. 6 hours 30 minutes. 18 pitchers. 119 At-Bats.  482 pitches thrown.

SanFran player named Belt belted the winning homer.  Like watching a double header.

Tigers swept in 3 straight.   Oh, but they had a chance in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 runners on and 1 out.   The Detroit Tigers first year manager was showing what a great manager he is, by pulling a batter that has been striking the ball okay - no great - but okay, for a Hernan Perez, a guy that had just 1 hit for the Tigers all year.    I think this image sums up how I feel about your performance as the manager...

And someone in this thread had picked the Royals to advance.

See Bills are complaining some one in the stands at the Lions game had pointed a laser at the field goal kicker. Not cool.

You have to bring your A game if you plan to bet against stace. She knows sports.  Glad you wooed her.  8)

Would be nice to see both the Cards and the Royals in the World Series. Know the TV powers wouldn't like that but would be fun to have an almost in-state series.

Joe, stace is good with her picks in any sports..... 8)

Wow. Who would have thought the Royals would sweep the Orioles.  Now if only the Cardinals can beat the Giants...

This is my issue with MLB Playoffs.     SITTING FOR 5 DAYS.
Let's get this shit going.
There are still people excited about it, but delaying it for 5 days, the only people that are going to be interested next Tuesday are the people in KC, the SF people, and KB's MLB expert, Ms.Staci.

Back when I was a kid, they finished up one series and started playing again 2 days later.

Joe, back when we were kids, the World Series would have been over with. It's all about the money.  Sucks.

Giants win the World Series.  Not a Giants fan but kudos to the National League.  That and a payroll of over $154 million for the Giants versus $89 million for the Royals.  Royals took them to 7 games and lost the last 3-2.

Though the television ratings for the first six games were terrible, the seventh game garnered the second highest viewing audience in World Series history, 53 million viewers.

If you're a sports fan, there is nothing like a game 7.  Didn't realize the viewing was that high.
