Chasing the Dream

Running from the world
Hiding behind words
Finding yourself
Seeking more
Chasing that dream

Holding on tight
Running into his arms
Hiding behind real feelings
Finding a reality you can't handle
Seeking that reality
Chasing away the nightmare

Holding it together
Running away
Hiding in darkness
Finding some light
Seeking the source
Chasing the clouds

Holding onto life
Running to keep up
Hiding to not be found
Finding some security
Seeking that warmth
Chasing that dream
Holding onto it

For me I find that sometimes is better to let that dream go.  What with all that chasing you don't realize the real dream is right in front of you.  Just saying is all.  Thanks for sharing yourself with us.

Thank you, I wrote this a few years back seems odd it can relate somewhat to me again, but not completely thankfully.
