I'm trying to build up a collection of tracks to exercise to, mostly walking, speed walking or cross training. Can you help me out?

I'm mid training for a charity walk for breast cancer and getting tired of the same old routines, any suggestions would be very much appreciated  ;D

While I've got a wider/diverse version of music styles I listen to..
I have made some specific lists that I play thru my iphone to match my walking speed
I try to do daily 45-60 min walks (like power-walking) around my apt complex.
I stride at around 133-134 steps per min rate.. so I BPM'd my entire library and chose the 132-136's and made a smaller working playlist. Then shuffle it on my phone thru the regular player or the Djay/Djay2 software.

While I have/used already owned DJ software for this.. I do see an online searcher..may not have most songs but maybe has some to match your "BPM" equivalent.

http://bpmdatabase.com/search.php

put in a BPM, click search button, and it'll generate a bit of a listing.

It doesn't have a great amount of songs and you'd have to pick and choose but there might be something there that might match for your speeds.
There may be some other sites as well, but that's one start.

Oh.. just found this one also.. adds genre groups as well..

you have to go thru a bit to set your "pacing" first, then choose a genre and do the search.

Led Zeppelin, The Who, Triumph, Heart, or any hard rocking music, for an intense workout. (Not sure your tastes)

the who for another five minutes after you reach your target heart rate

then "lay it on the line" with triumph

All the songs on my phone are hard rock and metal just look at the song association thread as probably 90% of what I post is right from my music library.

I was walking to Bullet for my Valentine but have been listening to Slipknot antennas from hell album now

Hmmm, isn't there already an exercise music thread?
Hmmm... ;-)

There sure is and despite me doing a search it didn't surface, that's why MissB so kindly linked me up.
