Can't wait till the new album drops. You have to have A.D.D. to follow along with the new single

Remember that boom box from the placeholder video for Eminem's "Berzerk?" Well, that thing has been blown up to 100 times its size in the final clip for the first single from Slim Shady's highly anticipated upcoming The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Em gave a sneak peek at the finished product during an unexpected appearance on ESPN's College Football Prime Time on Saturday night, one of the first times in recent memory that Slim Shady has done live TV.

Opening with what looks like an old-school VHS tape title card, the preview finds Eminem, in a white t-shirt and khakis, in full throwback mode, attacking the fish eye lens while rapping, with bearded producer Rick Rubin silently by his side in all black.

I'm pleased to see that he has gone traditional. Back to his roots so to speak. He got a little off track for a few years.

I wonder if the whole album will be DJ mix type or if it will go back to what he's done the last few albums.

I like the new sound.

Ooh me like, me like! Reminds me of the early Beastie Boys. Thanks for posting.

I'd agree with the Beastie Boys sound. It really does have an old school feel to it. A lot of DJ mixing during the 80's and early 90's.

I know not the Beasties but Jam Master J was THE master on the turn tables

I'm sure it's Rick Rubin. I haven't seen the official video but Rubin has a beard and looks like a mess all the time

During the halftime at the September 7, 2013 Michigan–Notre Dame football game, Eminem premiered a preview of the music video for "Berzerk". Then the video was premiered two days later on September 9, via VEVO. The video was filmed in Eminem's hometown Detroit, Michigan and directed by Syndrome. It features cameo appearances from fellow American rappers Kendrick Lamar and Kid Rock[7][8] (both of whom Eminem mentions in the song's lyrics) in addition to Shady Records labelmates Slaughterhouse, Mr. Porter, Yelawolf and The Alchemist, the song's producer Rick Rubin and Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg. The video also features short clips of backyard wrestling as well as short clips of the official music video of Billy Squier's "The Stroke", which is heavily sampled in the song.[9]
