My granddaughter Chelsea is mad on them and they have made it over there.

Yes, they've been "over there" since last summer. My nieces (12, 9 and 7) are borderline obsessed with them.

I like their song "That's What Makes You Beautiful." It's a couple of steps above the processed pre-packaged pop you typically hear today, and the lyrics are very sweet.

"Sometimes the best things in life are a hot girl and a cold beer."

I also like their song "That's What Makes You Beautiful." and that's where it stops. I do understand though with marketing and hype why they are the kids favourite.

I can remember being that worked up about a band when I was a teenager, thankfully though they weren't manufactured and worked damn hard to get the recognition they eventually achieved.

I LOVE The Human League! VH1 Classics On Demand airs "Don't You Want Me" often.
My friend Matt's daughter is OBSESSED with One Direction. She goes on and on and on about them. :P

That's one of the great things about being single, no wife to tell me who i can or can't have as a friend. ;-)

By the way, it was Bill Cosby who had "talked" about wives doing things like that once you're married: telling you who you can't hang around with anymore, where you can't go anymore, stuff like that. ;-)
