Popped into the local game shop, after visiting wife in the hospital, after work. The are releasing her today, her tests came back that there is a "slight" elevation in her hormones which they believe may be a start of an early onset menopause, which may be why she is epic level horny, despite having her tubes tied after the fourth kid.
I was looking for some new zombies to add to my Dawn of the Dead Magic the Gathering deck, but I stopped seriously playing years ago, and I noticed the fundamental shift in the game. I knew they went into Dungeons and Dragons with the cards, but now I see that it is a card game version of Clue?
I found a couple of interesting additions to the deck that I was building since high school, but what got me was that I read a news story about a card shop in Texas throwing away and entire set of magic cards in the dump, over the change in artwork or something.
But the store owner clarified that the set sucked, not just the art, but the game mechanics it tried to walk back in the name of making it easier for everyone to play. I mentioned they used to have a beginner friendly set years ago, where the rules were simplified. We laughed at that.
She also launched into a diatribe about the change in art, where its supposed to be less "TNA" but she said she did not mind if there was a busty archer on the card, as long as it helped her to kick some ass. She went on to tell me that she used to cosplay, and the shop has a cosplay corner, where people can buy stuff or make stuff for cosplay, since PensacolaCon is a thing now, and Downtown for a week leading up to it is full of costumed people going to the various parties and clubs.
I mean, lets be honest, there is a problem with the over sexualization of characters and such where it is pointlessly and needlessly over the top sexy, but then again, sex sells. I try not to enter this argument because all it does is run around in circles.
Me and the wife have a dear friend who can draw in the anime style, but she draws pure smut. Wife is commissioning her to draw out our sexier memories in Manga style. I cant wait to see the product.
