I'm having trouble trying to help my wife regain an interest in sex. There are a couple of issues. The first is that she's depressed, which we're addressing with a therapist. The second one is the hard one. She's had a hysterectomy due to menopause and a family history of ovarian cancer. So part of the reason for the lack of sex drive may be hormonal, even though she's on replacements. The biggest problem associated with this is that she thinks she's not sexy, and is worried that says tastes and smells bad or weird or something. We managed to have a good night of sex (awhile back) and it was completely normal. She's always been the best smelling and tasting woman I've ever known, and it's not different now. Maybe she doesn't believe me? I don't know. We've been married 20 years so I've been trying to seduce her all over again, which has helped in the sense of romance and actually saved my marriage. But I have no idea what to do about the sexual component. I'm very good at pleasuring myself, and it's sufficed for now, but this is becoming a big problem.
