Terrific images thanks... and glad you enjoyed your trip Jules...

If you've got a cock then use it, if you're a lady abuse it.

My local news man has stopped talking about it so I assume it's now safe to stare at the sun any time and for as long as I'd like.

Unfortunately, my youngest son will turn 90 a few weeks after the next total eclipse in the UK...

Too bad.

My next one will be 7 years from now.  And I'll only have to go 100 miles to see it.   Can't wait.    Areas from Texas will get it also, all the way from there to Maine

Where as the one I viewed last week had us in 2 minutes and 40 seconds of totality, the one in Ohio will be 3 min 54 seconds.   Texas will be 4-1/2 minutes

.
You might not know this, but I have a thing for Tom Brady (and Bill Clinton)

Our planetarium put on a show day before, reclined seats, curved ceiling ... The total works. We ooh'd and aah'd like crazy.  Air conditioned comfort and popcorn too!

My 74 year old mother lives in the path of the total eclipse.  I asked her yesterday what she thought of it, and she said, "Oh, I didn't look at it.  At my age, my eyesight is too important.  I didn't want to risk it."  What part of "*total* eclipse of the sun" did you not understand Mom?". Facepalm.

"Texas will be 4 1/2 Minutes"...

So it is true, everything is bigger in Texas!

Some people are like the 'slinky'. Not really good for much,
but they bring a smile to your face as they fall down stairs.

(Starts saving for a trip to land on a random near-stranger's doorstep in 7 years.)
