What is your definition of boredom?

When I'm bored, I usually write sex stories to entertain myself.

This is the only time I can say say I will tolerate being bored by other people, because at least there is a time limit.  As you say, it's once a year and harmless.

This is different from blaming someone for your boredom, which is absolutely ridiculous, but I deal with it at least once every few days, and I am the object of the blame, usually because I sit down by myself for ten minutes.

I almost started a boredom thread but I knew if I kept digging I'd find one already made.

Boredom for me is not having anything to do and not being able to get into anything.  I'm bored so I read, not in the mood for reading, so I'll watch a show, cant find any shows interesting, I'll write a story, cant get into the story and it sounds stupid when I read it,.... I want to do something but nothing interests me.

I took two showers today. My normal morning shower and then another just for something to do and I know I enjoy hot showers.

I joined a gym a few years back, but never went.  Not because I didnt want to work out, it's because I didn't want to travel there.  I figured I could have saved a couple dollars by just jogging to the gym and back home.
