Interesting! I find I tend to have lots of ideas myself, and a lot of my stories "write themselves".
I don't tend to outline my stories in advance. I'll have a title, most likely the story code, a brief idea for the story or idea for a scene in a story, and maybe an photo I found during a Google Image Search that inspired the story.
As soon as I start writing, the stories flows out of me effortlessly [most of the time]. I feel like Thad Beaumont in Stephen King's The Dark Half channeling George Stark. My inner writer is no psycho, lol, but he is a perv. ;-)
I never know going in how long a story will be. I tend to worry it'll be too short. But sometimes I find a story will go on a lot longer than i'd have expected it to, but in a "good" way...
