As we in America have been told many times, this was NOT RACISM.  It is impossible for any act against a white male to be racist, simply because whites are majority, and you can only perform acts of racism against minorities. Any exclusion of whites, because they are white is justified by what has happened in the past.

Or at least that's the line of many groups in the U.S, including some federal government agencies.

I never really thought of it as high ground so much as having first hand perspective, and I will stand by my assertion that on average living somewhere your whole life usually gives you a better perspective on it than visiting it for a week.

1: Have you ever called out an article written by the black perspective as butthurt? Do you feel that this particular article is butthurt or anti harmonious?

2: I've made a habit of using colourful expletives in most of my threads on stuff I find ridiculous (of which there is plenty in Canada). Why does doing it in this particular instance equate to butthurt?

Not that I remember, though neither do I remember any articles about events as inconsequential as the subject of this thread being posted on KB from any perspective other than white people.

What makes you think it's just this instance?

Of course. I'm a strong believer in freedom of speech. I'm just disappointed that stories like this find a market. I suppose it at least indicates that there are plenty of people with little else to worry the,. which isn't such a bad thing.

I'm disappointed when certain "victims" engage in behaviour that has predictably negative results and then the media turns them into martyrs when their stupidity has ....gasp...consequences.

Okay....In the end (and hopefully to end this).
I'm still going to Visit Canada every summer (Calgary to be exact), and I'm still going to bring Horse's, and I'm still going to associate with everyone there (no matter what they are or are not). I Like Canada, I Love Calgary (in the summer, The winter's really suck). I Love The Stampede (that why I go). Canadians are great to be with and be around (especially when talking about horses). Also Calgary is pretty diverse in it's cultures.

Are we talking about a country (Canada) that wants to divide itself according to which language they prefer (french or english) ? For the 1st several paragraphs I really tried to care about this discussion. The only guilt I feel is for not giving a shit. I probably should care. The only color I have seen that matters looks green (nothing to do with Irish). Seems like all colors of humans  have some individuals who make a living off of stirring the shit up about race and use that to their advantage. Sort of like "religious" people who interpret the bible according to what they want to think. Oh, I guess that's another discussion. Another discussion is all women are like guys named Bill > all different. If you all have sex you won't be thinking about this for awhile. I don't even care who or what you have sex with.
