Can't remember the last time I got more than four or five hours of sleep in a night. Wake up at least twice a night and even at weekends I'm awake by 0630 at the absolute latest.

When I was in the Army I had a sergeant that would yell that "the human body only need 4 hours and 16 minutes to recuperate from day before, 8 hours is for the weak."

Yeah... we all hated that asshole!

Just had a heavy storm band go over my house.  Guess that means it's time to wake up.
Opened the back door for the dog to go out and she poked her head out briefly and said uh, nope...

Going to sleep is fine, but being woken up at dawn everyday makes me regret staying up so late.  :D

Woke up to pee a few minutes after 3:00 AM. Nothing unusual there. I take.care of business then right back to.sleep.

Not this time. Tossed around for over an hour then gave up. It's more uncomfortable just laying there so it's easier to just get up.

By 6:00 it was time for morning routine of pills testing etc. now wife is up too so we had some breakfast and went into the living room.  I picked up the paper and she started her audio book.

Next thing I know wife is yelling at me and our Alexa is saying that my home health care worker will be here in half an hour.

Guess I got the rest of my sleep 😴

2:21 wide awake. 
I know what did it. I fell asleep for 15 minutes at 9pm. And it messed up my whole night of sleeping.  Damn it.  Been awake ever since. Surfed YouTube, Facebook, my news app. And here I am now.

Same. If I fall asleep after 6pm, my whole night of sleep is going to be messed up.
