I'm getting pretty tired of one sided political correctness crap.
A BBC announcer made a comment about a tennis player not being pretty.  Now the various women's groups are is demanding he be fired.

The thing is, if he had made a comment that a male player would never be a model, nobody would have given a crap, I guess you only need to be super sweet to women and minorities?

The question is, should an obviouse momentary lapse in judgment be enough to end a 20+ yr. career?

No it should not. However, if what was said was super egregious it can and has killed careers.

It's not so much political, as it is sexual.
There are a lot of things said by one gender to or about another gender that will kill you career.
This is just one of those in question.
had a female announcer said the vaery same thing, most likely noting would happen to her. "However" had a female announcer said the very same thing about a male tennis player, would there be the same effect?....most likely not.
Men...are use to the callouseness of the world and accept it.
Women do not.
(for instance....He's uglier than my dog.....A guy would let it slide)
(for instance....She's uglier than my dog....Expect a serious fight on your hands)
