Another of my old 'poems' (some might call it prose ;D) that was hidden in the nc part of the board, thank you TinyDancer for reminding me it was there, it was themed for Halloween.

MOON CHILD

A gentle breeze fluffs the golden curls around her forehead,
in her dream it is like the warm breath of her lover,
she coils her long limbs under the sheets, waiting for his,
kiss , her full red lips parting in anticipation, she trembles
like rose petals, rising from her bed. . .

Her bare feet slide through the dewy grass, the pale light from
the moon lights her breasts,so soft, so full, shadows flicker over
her shimmering skin. This nymphs' destiny is waiting among the
dark trees, waiting for a conjuction that will bring her rest.
She feels the tug of some strange force drawing her onward.

From the mist materialises an awesome shape,
she is helpless in its mesmerising grip, tripping forward,
her heart beats hard, desperate, is there no escape?
nightmares are made of this, dark ,gelatinous,
surrounding, smothering her like shroud,

is this what it is like to be buried alive?
or is it the way to fulfilment?
What is this beast? why has it come for her?
she sinks like diaphanous spirit to the earth,
as the monstrous form, glowers over her,

she recognises its essence, its evil birth.
She will deliver it her bodies grief,
her soul torn from her by its lust,
an unnatural conjunction beyond belief,
grinding her chastity into dust.

Love the end, it really changes the character slowly throughout. Great job, boss. Woo.

Don't sweat the petty stuff, pet the sweaty stuff.
