This took me by surprise, and I, too, would be very interested in seeing the source of the stats. They don't ring true to me. Perhaps these are European sizes? Caroline doesn't look like a size 16 to me. And I would have thought that the "women's ideal" would be smaller, perhaps a 6, or even a 4.

Women's clothing sizes are relative, depending on your height, weight, breast size, hip size, etc.

Healthy.  The answer is healthy.  A few "extra pounds" on somebody who lives an active life may not be that extra at all.  

All three of those ladies look like they can move what they got quite nicely.  All three have lovely smiles.

To be completely honest, I prefer a woman's size to be on the petite side of the equation. 0-6 is ideal to my eyes. Personality on the other hand, allows for a sliding scale.

The women shown above are beautiful. Even hot. I am not saying that I wouldn't relish the opportunity to pleasure any of them.

As long as a person makes a determined effort to stay toned, size and shape doesn't matter.  I have seen small flabby people and I have seen large toned people, toned always is more appealing.

I love the way this thread has morphed and evolved. I originally posted it looking for opinions on a very narrow topic: not what body type do you like, nor do you find these particular women beuatiful, nor looks vs. personality traits, but, simply, your opinions on the "ideal" and "national average" sizes noted here (and since I've no idea where this pic comes from, I don't know what "nation" the "national average" refers to).

UK 16 = US 12 and average measurements are 40-32-43
UK 12 = US  8  - 36-28-39
UK 8 = US 4  -32-24-35

I am happy with any size these days!

That a "women's ideal" is 4, and the U.S. national average is 12 makes a lot more sense to me. I can't really comment on the "men's ideal size." Though, judging by CoachEric's pic posts, for him I'd guess it's around 20.

LOL, I didn't even bother to look up what nation's sizes it were, so I never would have guessed that was why you made the post. The 'ideal' size here is 38 (fashion model size). The actual size of most women will be closer to 42 - 44 and the obese sizes are from 46 - 48 and up.

I will stick with Tillie.  Petite with a balanced body (say, larger B or smaller C-cup) is very attractive to me. Once they start getting big the physical draw plummets. Then again, the perfect body can turn to a -20 the moment they light up a cig.
