Harper Lee, author of the beloved "To Kill A Mockingbird", will finally publish a second book, over 50 years after her first book was released.
The new book, "Go Set A Watchman" is a sequel to "To Kill A Mockingbird". However, it was the first book written. It featured Scout as an adult having flashbacks of her youth. An editor told Lee to go back and write a novel about Scout as a young girl. What came out was "To Kill A Mockingbird".
The original book was recently found last fall. It will be published in July of this year. The book will be released as it was written with no revisions.
Harper Lee is almost as famous for writing only the one novel, as for the success of "To Kill A Mockingbird". This is sure to be a major literary event.
